The Weekend Retreat has been cancelled this year.
“RELAX into HEALTH and ENERGY”
Everything about these weekend retreats is geared towards RELAXATION and REGENERATION. All activities are designed to generate healing and harmony of mind and body. Nothing is compulsory. You may prefer to read a book by the waterfall.
The food is always a highlight and there is a massage therapist available for booking all weekend.
Featured Activities will include
Qi Gong Practices
- stretch, move, breathe in the fresh mountain air
- cultivate qi at the waterfall
Opening to the Natural Breath
This involves “waking-up” body awareness to recover full breathing potential through Feldenkrais and related inner processes.
Kohki Therapy uses heated organic incense to enhance energy circulation and balance internal organ function. It is a component of Japanese Holistic Herbal Medicine. At the Retreat there is a session with guest teachers Ko and Aki Okada (view photos in gallery) who will teach you how to use this heated herb yourself with simple Qi Gong movements.
Lots of fresh air, trees and quiet.
You might like to spend a whole afternoon sitting at the waterfall….your choice!!
Deep Muscle Relaxation
Using the Feldenkrais Roller (rolled-up blanket). This is deeply enjoyable and the gentlest way to let go of body tension.
The Theosophical Education and Retreat Centre is located at Springbrook in the Gold Coast hinterland. The property is surrounded by the beautiful Gwongorella National Park and has its own bush walks, stream and a spectacular waterfall with panoramic views. Austheos has photos of surrounding views and accommodation.
